Thema’s interventions to the building, which is residential and also listed, according to the designs of Michele Pierpaoli made it possible to renew the aesthetics of the structure as well as to improve its efficiency and functionality.
Work was carried out on different aspects, including replacing all iron windows with new hinged ones in aluminium, through to the reorganisation of access to the house.

The main challenge for Thema was demolishing the old iron windows, which were all bricked in, and reintegrating the new windows with the house.
A fully glazed veranda with sliding windows and opening roof, which also connects the two existing buildings and provides a new entrance to the building.
