The upgrade of an office building in the centre of Milan is part of the Lombardini22 project, involving the renewal of the main façades and the updating of wiring and air conditioning to regulation standards.
The new façade picks up on the building system in terms of rhythm, and on the clear-cut division of floors, with a series of large, regular, and opening square windows that are separate and independent, framed by deep aluminium profiles in the style of contemporary bow windows. The metal frames are insulated and fitted with a screening system. All of the windows have low-emission glazing and frames with thermal break.. Adjustable blinds on the inside of the glass guarantee screening and privacy. At the top, a curtain wall with metal panels covers the eaves overhang and completes the façade, while the stone base remains unchanged.
